With a joint concert with friends Navyy, Aur'ly, Don Mojo, Igdo and more.
Singer Moni.a, originally from Burundi and living in Liège since childhood, presented her new single 'Un Moment' in an intimate concert at Cafe Central with the support of many friends. This captivating track, imbued with her Afropop universe, reflects her determination and artistic journey, while exploring the nuances of a complex love story.
Moni.a is an emblematic figure of today’s music scene, having been born in Burundi before finding refuge in Belgium at the age of four, fleeing the genocide that was devastating her home country. This traumatic experience forged her character and her passion for music. Arriving in Liège, she was rocked by the influences of the American urban pop scene of the 2000s, French-speaking R&B and zouk, while remaining deeply rooted in her African roots and gospel music. This cultural diversity is reflected in her music, marked by a unique fusion of genres that enriches her personal style (Source).
Along with MONI.A, Cafe Central welcomed also Navyy, who just released the album 'Tojours pas chanteur' and who took the chance to present some of his tracks live like 'Elle Veut', 'Sorry' or 'Bye Bye', with the help of guest starts Aur'ly and Don Moja.
