Pommelien Thijs, Oscar and the Wolf and Sylvie Kreusch nominated at the MIA 2024

Belgium's Music Industry Awards


The MIA are back in 2025 and the nominations are out today!


Two artists earned 7 nominations and become the favourites, Pommelien Thijs and Glints. The latter has been nominated 3 times as Glints and 4 times with Glintsal, his project with Faisal. Other major contenders are Sylvie Kreusch (6x nominations), Bolis Pupul and Maksim (5 each) and Oscar and the Wolf (4).


The main competitor of Pommelien and Glints is Sylvie Kreusch. She has been nominated to Album (‘Comic Trip’), Alternative, Solo artist (public awards), Artwork, Author/composer and Videoclip.


Oscar and the Wolf can take home 4 prizes: Album (‘Taste’), Pop, Hit of the year 2024 (‘Angel Face’) and Artwork.


The MIAs are an initiative of VRT and VI.BE, the support point for the artist and music sector. An extensive jury of Flemish music professionals at radio, television, written press and online music media has selected 5 contenders per category. Among the other nominees we can find Berre, Bluai, Aaron Blommaert, Eefje de Visser, Loverman, Warhaus, Compact Disk Dummies and Lost Frequencies.

Nominees to Album of the Year at MIAs

It is now up to the audience and the music sector to choose their favourites. Voting for the public prizes is possible from today until Sunday 8 December 2024 via mias.be where you can check all the nominations.
